Build the Drone Before You Fly It

This kit arrives as 56 pieces: light plywood parts, small motors and propellers. Step by step they become a quadcopter with a round wooden guard around each propeller, flown with a wooden remote control. Building it is half the fun, and the other half starts when it lifts off the grass. The box is marked 14+, so younger builders should work alongside an adult.

Why parents love it

Hands-on from start to finish: they fit every part themselves before the first flight.
An open frame you can read: the plywood body shows how motors, wires and propellers connect.
A guard on every propeller: four round wooden rings sit around the blades.
A project to share: an afternoon at the workbench with a parent or grandparent.
